About Dr. Carter J. Moore
A native of Dallas, TX, Dr. Carter J. Moore has been in private practice since 1992. He has extensive medical experience in well woman care, gynecologic surgery, and obstetric care for the pregnant patient. Dr. Moore has a passion for his success in building one of the leading private practices in the area. With over twenty-five years of experience he has enjoyed delivering babies and providing quality healthcare for women as well as remaining up to date with the ever-changing healthcare arena. His practice specializes in a spectrum of women’s care — general Ob/gyn, infertility, routine and high-risk pregnancy, gynecologic surgery, minimally invasive procedures, and menopause. Dr. Moore provides thorough individualized care to each patient. His strengths include careful attention to detail of his patient’s needs and providing solutions to their medical problems.
Dr. Moore graduated from the University of Texas in Austin in 1983 with a degree in Pharamacy. He obtained his medical degree from University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas in 1988 and completed his residency training in 1992 from LSU Medical Center in Shreveport. Dr. Moore began his private medical practice in 1992. He joined Dr. J. Morris McKellar and founded OB Associates of Mt. Pleasant, TX. in 1994. Dr. Moore practices Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is Board Certified by The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
He and his wife, Randa, have one son, and one daughter. He enjoys spending time with his family, and UT Longhorn football.
